Nordic Timber began in a garage just outside Houston, Texas, where I spent my evenings learning the art of fine carpentry from my grandfather. Though I was working as a commercial carpenter at the time, I craved the precision of furniture building and was deeply drawn to clean, modern, and Scandinavian styles. Together, my grandpa and I spent over a month perfecting our very first piece—a double waterfall console table. The immense pride I saw in him when we finished became the literal backbone of this entire endeavor, and that exact design remains my number one selling item to this day.

What started as a cherished way to bond with my grandfather organically grew into a full-time pursuit. For years, I built the business slowly, reinvesting every sale into quality tools and pouring countless hours into mastering fine furniture construction before finally taking the plunge to leave my day job behind. Through all the uncertainties of building a small business, the unwavering support from customers who believe in my dream has made every challenge worth it.
